Well it's true what they say about a few bad eggs...don't believe a word of it. The manager and the maintenance man both work very hard to make this a nice place to live and it's obvious they care about us and the apartments. When you call with a problem, they are patient, actually listen and take care of it. Whoever posted the note about propping doors open' That's crazy to let people into the building...that's why they lock for our safety! Yes, they enforce the rules, but what would it be like if they didn't' Most of us realize that you can't always prevent things from breaking, but the important thing is that a/c or whatever else is fixed as soon as possible. Plus the best part is that a/c and heat are FREE!!! We only pay for our electricity and yes, we are renewing for our 3rd year at Captain Parker Arms - our kids love the school and have made lots of friends here. We love the beautiful landscaping and walking to town. Our neighbors are decent and nice and that's not true at some other complexes. I know that other families feel the same way we do and it would be great to hear some truthful comments and not just from a few bad eggs.

The courtesy of the management is really beside the point. Every time it rains, there are serious leaks in the basements of many of the buildings, resulting in puddles if not outright flooding. These puddles of standing water are left there and not cleaned up or taken care of in any way causing damage to items in the storage lockers. In this damp environment, mold can clearly be seen growing on the floors and walls.
