The rating of 2/14/2007 looks suspiously like it was written by the on-site manager. Don't believe it. The management attitude is snippy, vindictive and negative to every resident request. Partly because of a behind-the-scenes ownership feud, the management company (Dolben) has succeeded in turning a wonderful home for long-term residents into a transient apartment complex. Rents keep going higher and maintenance
goes undone. Look hard before renting here.

Link is to the state of MA housing code regulations. There are city laws as well.
These are very helpful to know--to motivate any management team to do the right thing. Also, there are stiff penalties for property managers who retaliating against or are vindictive toward tenants who report maintenance and repair issues. Also, it is illegal for property managers to rent apartments with housing violations.
