Really Love It Here - I have lived here for three years and have loved every minute of it! The staff has been utterly fantastic--friendly, courteous and professional. They keep tenants informed on what's going on (like giving advanced notice when work is to be done) and they frequently hold social events in the clubhouse for the tenants. They make any needed repairs promptly, have recently upgraded ...Full review of Katahdin Woods Apartments

Think twice before renting here - I'm looking to move out. Management is difficult to deal with, the complex is over 40 years old, and there are mold, noise, floor, storage and air conditioning issues. Management is often slow to address problems or effect repairs. From what I've heard, you would be much better off at Katahdin, Lexington Ridge, Lexington Hills, or Battle Green ...Full review of Captain Parker Arms

Great value - It's a great value given its location, and square footage. Note that you want apts in the 1st and 2nd floors, avoid the "bottom" floor or you won't have much light. Maintenance is okay; you can reach them easily, but response times aren't stellar although they eventually come through and fix things. Parking is easy, there are garages too. Watch the noise ...Full review of Minuteman Village

Not worth the rent! - Avalon at Lexington is an old and increasingly rundown development built more than 20 years ago. The apartments are industrial-looking and the kitchens are awful and other fixtures are el cheapo. The buildings are typical Avalon-ugly. Everything costs extra. Nice quiet loft space overlooking belmont conservation land but with annoying issues ... - There are four kinds of buildings at Avalon at Lexington Hills: The main "north" building, the "south" building (over 55's), the "manor homes" and town houses. We are on the top floor of one of the manor homes. It is a 1 bedroom with "den" (small bedroom) and a loft space (makes great work at home office) really nice. The high ceiling in the main ...Full review of Avalon at Lexington Hills

Overall Way over priced! The apartments are a bit worn old and needs a make over. Noise from neighbors up and slamming doors from tenants going in and out. Winter can be a drag with the parking lot and plowing.
The staff is terrible! They need are in dire need of customer service skills! Bottom

The rating of 2/14/2007 looks suspiously like it was written by the on-site manager. Don't believe it. The management attitude is snippy, vindictive and negative to every resident request. Partly because of a behind-the-scenes ownership feud, the management company (Dolben) has
