This is a well-managed, environmentally conscious, quiet and beautiful place to live

I have been delighted to live in this community for over three years. The buildings and units are sited for privacy, the grounds are conscientiously maintained no matter what the season (snow removal, for example, is swift and thorough), the office staff are polite and efficient, the maintenance staff are knowledgeable and experienced, and there is a very interesting mix of residents from a variety of backgrounds. Small animals (no more than two per unit) must be registered with the management, but there is no additional monthly charge. I have not been disturbed by noisy dogs. The commuter rail is only three minutes' walk away, there is a good grocery store even closer, and the public safety building (fire and police) is just a few blocks away. Anyone who loves walking, hiking, cycling or bird-watching would love it here. If you want a real garden, Codman Community Gardens are just over the tracks. There is a lovely public library in Lincoln, amenities for seniors, and a wonderful museum, DeCordova, which has a fabulous annual outdoor fair. For those who drive, Route 2 is only ten minutes away. Good medical facilities are only twenty minutes away.
