Whenever we had guests, they were always very impressed by the huge windows, tall ceilings, and open floor plan. I probably had one of the best apartments in the building. I was fortunate to have wonderful (peaceful) neighbors who I rarely ever heard (yes, the walls are thin but the ceilings are thick.) I also had a rare 1500 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bath on the parking lot side of the building so there was very little street noise. The parking lot isn't the smoothest, but having ample free parking for two cars plus any visitors is one of the perks of living here over other places downtown. This is also one of the only rentals downtown that allows dogs- and most of the dog owners are very responsible with cleaning up after their pets (of course you'll only notice when they aren't responsible.) I noticed a lot of commuters who lived here, but I also enjoyed working from home here. The location is very convenient- right in between the commuter rail, visitor center, museums all around, and a short walk to downtown restaurants and nightlife. There's ALWAYS something happening in Lowell, and it was nice to be in the middle of it all.

The night guard was really good about keeping watch over the premises. The management did change once or twice while living here, but the maintenance people were always helpful and working hard to keep things clean. They did a good job of plowing the parking lot after storms, so there was rarely a problem getting in and out during winter months. This is minor, but the sink didn't have garbage disposal, though we did have a dishwasher, and as of right now there's no recycling program for the building. The sample apartment we looked at had wood flooring and we ended up with a carpeted one, which wasn't a big deal, but we could tell that the carpet was really just a band-aid for a wood floor that should have undergone repair. Overall, I would've loved staying here, though it would definitely be a different story if my neighbors weren't so awesome.
