I lived at Boott Mills for over a year. The building and apartments were beautiful, the management was friendly, and the maintenance crew was reliable. However, after 2007, there seemed to be an influx of lower socio-economic tenants which resulted in always being able to hear loud Spanish being spoken and questionable characters loitering inside and outside of the building.

You sound like a ignorant, racist. Obviously you are not cut out for diversity or city living. What did you expect???!!

Call the authorities, someone was speaking spanish!! Gasp! Are you kidding? If you don't want to hear other people's voices, go buy your own house somewhere in the woods. We won't miss your ignorance. Since when does spanish speaking = lower socio-economic tenants anyway? Ridiculous. I've lived here for over a month and I love it. Everyone is friendly, quiet and respectful - no matter what their native language. You should embrace diversity, open your mind and get yourself educated. Hopefully you've since moved out - I'd hate to run into you in the hallway or lobby and risk being surrounded by your hate and small-mindedness.
