Heating/Air Quality issues

Ever since I moved in I wake up feeling like I have a cold with my throat all full of phlegm. I know at least two other residents of complex who have same problem. Have tried plants and a humidifier. If you don't keep a window cracked open ALL the time, you gag constantly.

I can see why heat's included. I haven't run the heat in a week and my apartment is 76 degrees. Hallway in my building has a terrible odor.

There is no peep hole in the door to my apartment. Security only until 3:00 am.

Air quality by far is the biggest problem. I certainly would not recommend this place for anyone with asthma or chronic sinus problems or anyone with small children.
