I have been at cabot crossing for 15 months, but I'm looking forward to move out soon. The new people on the app above me are really noise and they have parties over the weekends..loud music...they even pee over my AC one time...I've call the cops twice and complaint to the office, but they don't care. Security walks around...and doesn't even say anything...

Security is supposed to walk around, that is their job. Security has to know, hear, see or be told by a resident what adverse conditions their neighbors are causing them before security can report them and wait for instructions from their supervisors in order to remedy the problem. A few people are loud their and obnoxious (just add alcohol)and are inconsiderate of others which in turn causes other residents considerable anguish. I think security at Cabot Crossing has improved over the last 3-4 months. Is it perfect? No,but it isn't for lack of trying.

I lived at this place from December 2007 to March 2009 & both saw/heard things that the management/office/security should have done something about. The people in the office don't really care about the residents. If someone pees off their balcony & a witness tells the office or security then something needs to be done. Also it seemed like some of the residents didn't need alcohol in order to act like a bunch of obnoxious pigs. The real problem is that Cabot is always renting to a lot of low-class losers & then the rest of us have to put up with them. Glad I got out of that 3rd world dump!

You are completly right. The office staff DO NOT CARE, they only give you lip service with no actions taken. They do not even pretend to act like they care. My issue is with the parking. There have been vandelized cars, unregistered(No Plates), or stolen cars here that have remained in the "Preferred" spaces for many months. I asked the office if I could bring my second car here to work on it ( a hobby of mine, fixing up cars ), and I was told NO. The manager stated that the cars on the property have to have a parking sticker, and be registered. I asked her why others were allowed this special treatment, yet I could not. She said that maintanence is responsible for monitoring these parking issues. I told her that they do not. About 2 weeks later, someone placed a paper on it, stating that the owner had 10 days to move it, or be towed. It eventually got moved. Why does it take paying residents, to have to go to the office to make a complaint ? Why can't people just do their jobs ? No wonder their are so many noticible vacancies in my building. I have been here for 2 years, but it is time for me to move on, especially when they keep raising the rents. I have never paid late or been any problem to anyone. Maybe this is why they want me to leave ? Suggestion for security; Give the tenants, securities cell tel # to report any issues during the over night security working hours. Wouldnt this be better than calling 911 ? Why won't anyone monitor and enforce the parking permits here ? I am very fustrated with the office lack of concern or work performances. Please think carefully before moving in here !

I had a neighbor who would throw loud parties late into the night and saturate the hall with pot smoke while his 'guests' ran all around the building. I went to the office to ask for the security guard's phone number so I could call the next time it happened. I was told that wasn't the security guard's job and that I should just call the police instead. Really? Then what exactly IS the security guard's job? Calling the cops at 1AM is a huge hassle. You have to wait for them to arrive, be up and dressed to file a report, etc...all when you just want to get some sleep. I would content that this is EXACTLY the situation a security guard is supposed to be there to deal with in order to save the residents the inconvenience.
