i have lived in a heritage owned building for a few years and after reading many of these reviews i have to say that it's really not as bad as these folks are making it out to be. is it an ideal place to live' no, but what apartment is ideal' POSITIVES: the building i live in has a lot of parking and it is first come first served and i never have trouble parking. i also have all utilites included in my rent, even electricity, which was why i rented here in the first place and i still love that aspect the most! the pool is always clean and not really ever crowded except a few times on weekends if people brought kids and kids friends. NEGATIVES: i wish my bathroom was upgraded because it is ugly and falling apart (plumbing is ok, just fixtures are old). lightbulbs in the kitchen were a pain to change because it was a weird bulb, but one time i called maintenance and they did it for me so i guess that negative is not really a negative afterall.
i've lived in other apartments, and this one wasn't noisy, smelly, leaking, moldy, or ugly. i don't have anything to say about the people in the office because i don't really interact with them, which is the way i like it!
