Loft 27 is a brand new loft apartment building that was constructed from an old mill building in downtown Lowell.

The apartments were originally created as condos, but are now apartments.

Therefore they have nicer than normal amenities like grantie counter, in-unit laundry rooms, and very nice appliances.

However, none of the closets have organizers (aside from one thin wire shelf), and the ceiling fans in the living room look like they were purchased at home depot for $5.

Despite this, the amenities in the apartment are very nice.

The ceilings are tall, making the noise from people above much less noticeable.

The ceilings in the bedrooms are lower and contain all of the heating and cooling ducts for the apartment, and so there really is no noise from neighbors above in the bedroom.

However, the noise between walls is ridiculous.

I can hear children screaming and crying, stereos, tv, and chairs being scraped across the tiled kitchen floors.

It is by far the worst aspect in the building.

This place isn't cheap, but it is by far the best apartment I've ever lived in.

The management takes care of packages and also will send out your dry cleaning.

The public recreation stuff still isn't open (about 4 months behind schedule) so I can't comment on that.

Oh and its really close to the lowell connector, so you don't have to deal with downtown traffic on the way to work!
