We were one of the first to sign a lease here at Loft 27, and we love it!!!! Our apt. is 1400 sq ft, with washer dryer units, sweet "old factory" wood floors, (4) 10' windows facing NW so the light is soft and beautiful.
We have new people over all the time and spend the first 20 minutes to talk about how awesome this apt is. From the floors to the windows, the 14' ceilings, everyone we bring over is in awe.
The office folks are absolutely great. They are courteous, attentive and super friendly. When issues arise, they are on point and totally have your back. Seeing how they don't own the building, we don't fault them if there are issues with the place. Maintenance gets the job down, quickly and with limited interruption.
The building is within walking distance from the Tsongas arena, Merrimack Theatre and countless restaurants (the majority are small businesses). Lowell, specifically this area, is very small and quaint, lots of art and culture and history.
If you are looking to get out of Boston, or maybe closer to Boston without paying ridiculous Cambridge rent, check out Loft 27 or the Bootmills Lofts. I have friends who love it there as well.
Rock on Loft 27; and to all the haters out there, step out side the box and look at how good you have it. Treat people with respect and stop looking for things to complain about. If you don't think this place is worth the dough, move to Fitchburg!

Anyone with half a brain can tell that this was not written by a resident... Anyone reading Richards review that actually is looking to rent at Loft 27, please, hang out in front of the building and ask a few residents how miserable they are! Maybe you will bump into me and I will tell you how unhappy I am with the place, but I am stuck in a lease. I could also point you to some neighbors that feel the same way. Good luck!

I wrote this, I live here I am pretty sure I have a full brain. Send me an email directly if you want to know my apt. #. Why would anyone stand outside and listen to miserable people complain about their miserable lives? There is always another side, and there is no consensus that this place is as bad as you want people to believe. I truly love it here. Is it freaking Shangri- la? No, is it the wonderful land of Oz, no, nor do I expect it to be. We all deal with issues differently, some choose to complain and hope other people will lift them from life's difficulties. I choose a different path... And btw, there is always a way out of a lease, you have rights, learn to exercise them and maybe your misery will dissipate, but knowing your type you just love to complain. Take charge of the problems facing you, because I guarantee they go beyond your "horrible" apt lease. There's my two cents
