Good and the Bad

I've read alot of the previous reviews and agree with saome and entirely disagree with others. I checked yes, I would recommend these apartments, but only if you have minimal contact with management and maintenance. Although maintenance has always arrived quickly to fix the issue, rarely has it been fixed for any length of time. I, my roommates, and other tenants I've spoken with, have no problems with the girl that works on the weekends, in the office. The manager, however, has repeatedly had a bad disposition, and I would agree, tends to drive people away. I'm personally moving soon, and would consider staying, if she was gone. The other's that have seemed to not have problems with her, all seem to be older. She in fact, told some friends interested in moving in, that college kids weren't encouraged. Isn't that discrimination' I agree that the noisy college/frat-type students would not be the type of people I'd like to try to sleep next to, but just because you're under 30, does not mean you're a trouble maker, and we've hed several experiences with her about this. As to safety, I don't feel any less safe, living here, but my car sure does. Two of my roommates had their stereos stolen from their cars, not to mention every one in visitor's parking, in one evening. The security guy tries, but 1) he needs some medication, to cool him down a little and 2) he works EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR BY HIMSELF!!! No wonder my car's shaking in it's boot, every night when I try to find parking. And I don't even want to hear people complain about parking. I've had my name on the lease for more than a year, and still haven't gotten a parking sticker. I have to fight with "visitors" who mostly are people just like me, who have to deal with this crap from management. If your name is on the lease, you should have a sticker. Plain and simple. Now don't get me wrong. The actual apartment is BEAUTIFUL, the are is the one part of Lowell that's nice. You're 2 blocks from the grocery stores, and 2 blocks from the bars, if that's your scene, but dealing with this particular manager makes my head hurt. I will purposely wait to ask the office anything, until the weekend, so I don't have to deal with her. Mullins Management: Somebody hire the weekend girl on Full time, and get rid of the witch. And expand parking. There's a huge building thatis aching to be torn down, in the back.... you know the one. Do these things and I guarantee you'd have a whole lot happier tenants
