I recently moved from Massmills and it was nice. The reason I moved is because I moved to another state. If your neighbors bother you, all you have to do is tell the property manager and believe me, she'll take care of it. Everywhere you live, they'll always be someone that will probably annoy you, but that's life. It's hard to tell who's good and who's bad when you're renting out apartments to people.

And the comment that someone made about the "section 8 people," you've gotta be kidding me--are you trying to imply that those tenants acted like that because they have section 8 or because they're poor'. Just because someone has section 8 doesn't mean they're a bad person, just as if someone is rich doesn't mean they're a good person. It just means they need help paying rent because of some situation going on in their life, like single parents (like me) who don't receive child support and go to school full time. So I guess when I have my masters degree I (or others like me) will be o.k. to live next door to, right'

I lived at Massmills and my wife and I left because they raised our rent by $200. Once we found out about some of the Section 8 people living there were having thier employer give them their raise in a separate check so they would not lose the $800 rental for 3 bedroom. I find this wrong, I was paying $1,300 back in 1999 - 2000 for a two bedroom. Believe me we were not rich at all but we made enough money to quailify for the high rent. I do know they take your income and that is what determines the rent you pay. Not based on the apartment, this is carp. I have no problem with people getting assistance but in MA it is very easy to work around the systems. Moved to NH and this would not happen.
