I am a 14 year old girl saying this, tonight. And I would like the WHOLE world to see this.

North Canal Apartments are not good. NOT GOOD. READ MY LIPS. I hate them, I hate EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. THE STAFF, THE KIDS, THE MAINTENANCE, THE EVERYTHING!

You see, I moved here about a year ago, I was VERY happy to get moved into a new apartment from the old one we were living in. Roaches, roaches, roaches, it was disgusting.

So, we get settled and moved in. I'm loving these apartments and want to spend my LIFE here!

Until..we get our first notice from the office. Excessive noise and some other junk. Let me tell you something, the people across from our building BLAST THEIR MUSIC LATE AT NIGHT AND SMOKE WEED OUTSIDE! But do they get reported' NO. The people downstairs had a son that pratically BANGED a stick to our floor each night and it was like BOOM BOOM and then one day I was eating and it was like BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM and it pratically came through our floor. But did they get a notice' AFTER WE REPORTED THESE "PEOPLE"' NO.

OK, so my mom calls managment, blah blah, they say keep it down. So, that's what we do..or at least we thought we spoke at a normal level. I mean, we aren't going to WHISPER!

Summer goes well, fall goes well, winter goes .. WHAT' ANOTHER NOTICE' Yep, that's right. We got another notice January 13, 2005. Why was this day so special you ask' IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT MANAGEMENT!

Yeah, so this notice says once again..excessive noise, unauthorized persons..yada yada. My mom once again calls the office, tells them the deal but this time they want to have a meeting with her. So she goes to the meeting the next Wednesday and tells the lady everything that goes on around our way. Some topics were:

- Kids HARRASS ME (throw stuff at me)
- Silly kids try to BLIND my family by shining lazers through oru window.
- Kids through balls at our window in the summer.
- People smoke pot outside
- People BLAST THEIR MUSIC AT 12:00AM TO 3:00AM IN THE MORNING.
- People next door, blast their music.
and more..

And what does the manager say' WHAT DOES THIS LADY SAY'

"The people next door told us they play their music loud, watch your child when she comes home from school, call the police on the people that are doing drugs and blasting music. And no, we cannot give you a transfer. Goodbye."

That's what they said. Maybe not that EXACT way but my mom told me that's what Sarita said. No do you think we want to keep calling and calling and calling the police all the time' Do you think a 14 year old teenager wants to be WATCHED outside like a child coming home from preschool by her mother' I DON'T THINK SO! So do not MOVE HERE! PLEASE. You will REGRET it. Everything falls apart, the closet comes off the tracks, it broke our thermometer twice, the walls are MAD hollow, I have so much dents in my wall, the cabinets fall off, the water is constantly cold, BILLIONS AND JILLIONS OF SPIDERS AND ANTS (EWWW), leaks. DO NOT MOVE HERE. HERE'S A 14 YEAR OLD TELLING YOU FROM MY GRUSOME EXPERIENCE. MY MOM IS ALREADY APPLYING TO MANY APARTMENTS AFTER ONLY 1 YEAR LIVING HERE! IT'S HELL!!
