Decent

I recommend Pine Properties (Morris Gardens location), because overall, it's a good value. But there are some things to consider.

The cons:
- The noise from the neighbors is extremely annoying. It may be due to my having inconsiderate neighbors, but when their tv is on, I know. When they sneeze (no exaggeration here), I know. I even know when they are showering.
- VERY close proximity to other neighbors (neighboring apartment complexes, for instance), whose tenants often don't have regard for others in terms of the noise and ruckus they create, even late into the night.
- Sometimes, the landlords (there are several) seem annoyed and unwilling to listen to tenants' issues, whether it's dripping faucets or problems with other tenants. Don't expect them to hide the fact that your problems inconvenience them in their tidy, air-conditioned office.
- No utilities are included with rent.
- There is no A/C in many of the units, despite the fact that they claim to have A/C on the website. Mine was one of those.
- During winter, the cold air seeps in through the windows. Sealing up the windows every winter may be necessary.
- Adequate parking, but people off the street can steal spaces, and management doesn't take action, even when people are "caught" in the act.

The pros:
- Most problems do get resolved in a timely manner.
- The grounds are well-kept.
- The buildings are continuously updated; repainted, old units are renovated, etc.
- Price; a one-bedroom apartment for under $700 in the city is hard to come by.
- Pretty safe neighborhood. I'm sure there are some crimes in the area, but I never feel unsafe here. I also come from a big city, so this may be relative. Kids play in the yard all the time.
- Sweet unit; it's not cramped by any means. Lots of sunlight through the large windows.

So, all in all, it's a decent place to live. I think the worst thing for me is the general unfriendliness of some of the people in the office. If you don't care about that, I think you're all set!
