Horrible!!!! Don't Move Here!!!

Newly married couple looking for their first apartment and we thought we got a great deal. It's newly remodled and we were one of the first tenants to move in. The rent is low and wireless internet access is available.

Our sink was already clogged within two days and our toilet was cracked but it did get fixed promptly.

My husbands car got broken into, smashed windows within the first week. The landlord said brighter lights would be put out in the parking lot (still hasn't happened 4 months later).

When people started moving in they were very disrespectful having loud keg parties every week but thankfully that has stopped. And we're on the 3rd floor and I can hear the people below us walking around and showering etc.

During the flood our ceiling began leaking and there was no 24 hour emergency number to call until we spoke with them on monday to recieve the number for the next time. The water leaked in our bathroom, bedroom, bedroom closet, and kitchen closet. We were living with big containers to catch the water and a horrible smell from the water. When the landlord first came my husband gave him two big tupperware containers to catch the water in the attic because he didn't have anything and after 2 months we still have not received those back.

After numerous phone call attempts to get something done and going there in person we had to call the board of health to have it fixed because we were not getting any response from the people in the office. (of coarse until we withheld our rent)

They "fixed" the problem by painting over it (with one coat so that stains still show through) except in the bathroom they scraped some of the ceiling that was falling down and repainted so it's all uneven and looks discusting.
