DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT LIVING HERE!

The building is noisy overall. If you live facing the parking lot, you will easily hear conversations and noise from the cars. Since all of the sunlight hits the parking lot, it also gets very hot and humid and the AC is not powerful enough. The AC only works well for the rooms closest to the AC itself, but has trouble blowing into the farther rooms.
Now that they lowered the rents and got rid of the deposit, the tenant demographics have shifted to an early-20's crowd, which is not a good thing. On evenings, I usually hear car stereos booming. The building is a lot messier now (trash in the halls and elevators), because the new tenants are barely adults.
What the other people wrote about the walls being thin is very true. I've lived in many other apartments, but I've never been able to hear people going to the toilet through the walls.
Another problem is that there are no good views in the Cliffside. If you don't live along the parking lot, then you either face the rock walls or Broadway, which is really noisy.
If you want a quite place to live, where you feel like you are in your own personal space, the Cliffside is a bad choice.
