Commute is a big pain. Lot of Bugs in the apartment.Pain to handle office staff.I will never recomend this to any one.

I've lived at Granada since 9/05 and I only have positive things to say. My mother,who lives with me, is 89 and disabled-the staff in the leasing office did everything possible to accommodate her. She is very happy with the apartment, the people and the surroundings. We got a 2 bdrm 2 bth in the disabled accesible bldge (180). It is the most convenient and cleanest place I have ever lived in, bar none! I have mostly lived in the tropics, so I know all about all kinds of bugs! We have never experienced the bug problems ennumerated here AT ALL. I'm a very conscientious housekeeper,cleaning up after every meal and never walk around the place while munching. Many people do this and then wonder why there are suddenly bugs everywhere. Maybe stray crumbs can cause bug problems anyplace. Food stored improperly can attract pests or eating in bed, etc. One's habits inadvertantly may be the root of this problem. Sadly, we do notice that some folks do not dispose of their trash properly and expect others to pick up after them,which maintenance does, but it just shows that sometimes people cause their own problems. Aside from this, it is nice to meet people from other places. It has broadened my outlook and I learn alot from them. Maybe you can get a new recipe from a neighbor. The Social Director has been extremely helpful in helping me w. my resume and getting me someone to help with my stored articles. The staff really goes the "extra mile" for residents. I think they are the most courteous people I have ever dealt with in housing in my very h onest opinion. This area is great for elderly or disabled, too because of the help and concern they give you here. It is a great place to call home!
