Hi,
I read most of the reviews and agree with some and disagree with others. Here is my opinion for what it is worth. I would suggest that you move into the smaller buildings....the taller ones have more problems...for example, the elevator. With the smaller buildings you do not have that problem and it only goes up to the third floor. In addition, there are less neighbors and the rooms are nicer...more spacious...although you do not get a view. Next...the height of the larger buildings tend to bring in more noise from the street whereas the smaller buildings do not get that echo or the voices bouncing from building to building.
As far as the pet rent goes...who cares...most people are slobs...so is it so bad that the apartment complex wants to keep out the rif raf...think of it this way..not many apartments even allow pets...and this place has a small pet yard to let your dog roam around in...also, if someone can pay the money to keep their dog here, then chances are they won't let the dog crap all over the place.
Of coarse the maintenance men are not hoping around like madmen...this place is huge..they may not get to your house that very minute...but they do come.
Lets put some stuff into perspective...some people walk around here thinking their but should be wiped because they pay rent.
I love this place...not everything is great but there really isn't that much wrong. Sometimes people do not pick up after their dog...but if you catch them and complain...the staff will do something about it. People complain about the convience store, saying it is not that convient...what do they want...how many other places have a convient store in their complex! He is open to 7 p.m. what more do they want 24 hour service' Also, I saw a complaint about some person not being able to pick up
their box at the store...they are lucky that the store accepted their UPS box...else they would have to go to the UPS site instead.
This is what I love about the place...The bus comes directly into the complex, 4 buses in fact! The place is quiet..I have not seen any parties or loud problems....lots of parking spaces...the store makes good food...the gym is nice...and for the most part...I feel safe to walk around here at all hours of the night! So, do not be put off by such dumb reviews!

You have not gone through the drama, so you cannot speak for other tenents. I am a water victim, which water came down form the 5th floor to my apartment on the 2nd floor...the management here did nothing for me. I suffered physically, mentally, emotionally and financially and have not been compensated. People write their reviews because they went through something they don't deserve. If your apartment get water damage you will understand, because they are not partial in there treatment. Building 180 apt. 209

The pet rent is extremely unusual in conjunction with a security deposit. The smaller buildings do not permit dogs. I say this as both someone who rents here, and owns property out-of-state.
