OK people, stop whining. Overall, this place is pretty good. Have you tried renting downtown Boston' You couldn't touch the prices and downtown apartments are noisy, congested, without parking, and not so safe. People...Granada has parking! Granada is so convenient to public transportation and if driving you are very close to major roadways...a good thing to have when there is snow and you've got to get to work or to school. This place is safe and secure and that is something hard to find epecially if you have a family. The people here are nice...they watch out for you without breathing down your neck. Most of all, the rental cost is darn good and the rooms are quite large compared to most places I've checked. The grounds are maintained well and it is spacious enough. OK, it's not Vegas or a country club but it does have enough "curb appeal". Feel good about living in Granada' Sure!

I like how the poster above posted Anonymous. I'm almost willing to bet it's the looser property management girls in the office trying to raise the bar for this "Luxury Community" as it was advertised when we signed our lease. Bad value. 1350 starting IN ( MALDEN ) IS A GOOD DEAL??? LOL! Where are you from. Besides that, management is a joke. Really. Truly. As safe as the fake security at the gate. (who let solicitors in to litter your hallways with more pasta and pizza delivery restauraunts in one block than anywhere in the world. Look, I came from California, and for what you guys call "value" out here... it really is a joke. If you saw what I got for 1350 /month this far from a major city, you'd think I was a movie star. LOL No sense of customer service at all from the property management or the tyrants that own it (MPA Management) And yes, I am moving back to California AS SOON AS THIS LEASE EXPIRES!!!!!!!! And you, Stay the ---- out here! P.S. F@$# BOSTON

Wow go back to California! We don't want people here like you anyways, I don't think you would be happy anywhere in Boston!!!!!! You need medication!

Perhaps it's because I'm from NY, but I do not think this complex is particularly conveniently close to public transportation. Parking is good, but it would be better if the lights in the parking lots by buildings 250 and 252 actually had worked anytime in the past 9 months or so. My neighbor's car was badly vandalized, seemingly just for the sake of vandalizing it. I park my car on the street in the Bronx, have left it unlocked overnight in Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn, and never had any damage. My husband's co-worker lived in 180 and eventually moved in part because his car was constantly needing the body shop. There also hasn't been a light by the side door of my building in about 9 months. The office is staffed by the rudest, coldest people under the sun. I have told Paula more than once to watch her tone, saying, "You just work here, but this is my home." I once waited over two weeks to get any type of response from maintenance regarding a leak in my living room. When they finally came, I wasn't home. So, instead of looking n the closet where everything I was storing had gotten moldy, they washed a wall and said the issue was resolved. To be fair to the "security" personnel, they don't let in solicitors. Those menus are left by delivery men on their way out. At the same time, since the intercom only works intermittently, it would be nice if the gatehouse would call me to let me know when my food has arrived so I can meet the delivery downstairs. It does bother me that TV repairmen can get to my door completely unchecked, but my grandmother has to jump through hoops to get in.

I live in Bldg 181, my car is only 2 years old and needs atleast $2000 worth of body work from the abuse in the parking lot. You can hear wheels screaching every night, it's actually dangerous to walk in that parking lot at night. My intercom has not worked since I moved in (over two years ago).
