If Sara is still there... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/26/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008 1 response   Well, if Sara is still the manager there, well PLEASE move to 520 as a LAST option. 1. You will never be able to see her after you sign the lease. Plan to spend your week ends with her if you have some thing to be attended to... 2. She is never at her office, as much as the office board says. Office board says the office opens from 8am. She is there to office ONLY on the days she wishes, at the time she wishes. Usually after 10...before 1pm... 3. She is absolutely rude, loud, just dodges, make promises that she will not keep, cant take her for her words. Always want to sound she is doing favours........ About the apartments: 1. There are two elevators and MOSTLY ONLY ONE works at a time. You cannot see both the elevators working well at the same time for more than a week. I can still remember there was only one elevator working during the Thanks giving, Christmas and new year too...Yes talking of the 2007 to 2008! 2. If you are moving in when one of the elevators is not working, you are going to have a hell of a time OR others are going to have a hell of a time. And this reminds me that there have been time when the individuals moving in/out control the elvator by themself, which in fact is even against the regulations! 3. There have been instances of the rats, but they were attended to pretty quickly. 4. If you want a hot bath at 8AM before leaving to office, please dont expect it - it will be luke warm around then. Neither will you have the patience to come out of the bath to call the maintenance nor will you have time to wait to get it hot. Well sometimes the water does not come hot even during the day. One thing has been constant, during the midnights its good and very hot...lovely, but you cant bath at mid night. 5. I have heard of some of the tenants who complained about the bed bugs, and our good friend Sara has threatened them that the tenants have to bear the cost for cleaningup(around 1000$), but then I guess she learned the regulations mandate a bit late... 6. Well, the courier and shipment deliveries may not make to your door step...I dont know the complete story why it so happens...so not much to say here...BUT it is a pain. If ur shipment gets into her office, you will never know when/how to get it because Sara will not be here before office/during/after hours...! 7. Then the resident directory where someone can lookup and call your cellphone/landline and you can open the secured door: Well, she removes of names at random, and you may become a victim to it!! I know of a friend whose name was in the directory and suddenly his name was no more there. When he went to her to ask about it, she just randomly removed someone else's name from the directory and added his name!! So keep checking... 8. PARKING LOT: YOU WILL NEVER see an advanced notice when the parking lot will be cleaned, maintained, or whatever. Suddenly one fine, "late" evening there will be a notice on the elevators (that dont work) that there is a mainteance of the parking lot for the NEXT day, and all vehicles not removed will be towed. So if you plan your holidays, and have a car parked in the lot, PLEASE check about it with Sara. But you may not be able to get an answer because she would schedule it at her WHIM! 9. I doubt if the management know that Sara runs her own empire...and if they are aware and they are retaining her, then i dont know what to say. She is one who should not be even given any more chances. She is NOT going to change her ways. SHE will learn her lessons the hard way...and curses from everyone will take care of her fate... 10. Cable connection: The cable connection guy who one day came to set a connection went to a room in the stair way to setup some connectors...and he just used some screw-drivers to open up that room! When I asked him why he did not have the keys, he said - this office is never open and cant get the keys...I suspect the safety... 11. Talking of safety, I never felt safe whenever I used the elevators, just prayed I reached safe!!! The floor was even kind of shaky...makes some loose noise...And yes, the indicator in every floor which indicates which floor the elevator is - IT never worked...Sorry, only one NEVER worked. You can always see it showing something like 10,12 and 13!!! And you will have a wonderful waiting time for the elevator... 12. Guest parking: Coming back to it - Sorry state. Just about 6, I think. And if you are having guest...i never knew what to do... Things that were really well maintained and never had a problem: 1. Washer laundary room, nevre had a problem... 2. Sorry could not think of more...
