Very Disappointed - You will regret signing the lease

As other posters have commented there is a shooting range very near to the complex, especially on weekends the noise is unbearable.

The service technicians respond well if your problems occur during regular business hours, but weekends or evenings are a problem. In addition, the subcontractors the complex uses will leave a mess in your home and the work is shotty.

The front office staff will tell you just about anything to get you to sign but once in are unfriendly, disrespectful and generally unhelpful.

The maintenance crew does handle snow removal very well.

There is only one trash disposal location at the front of the complex, so unless you like a long walk hauling trash be prepared to use your car as a trash hauler.

The rents are outrageous -- Not at all worth the cost.

I have heard no one receives their security deposit back and from what I've seem I believe it.

It is nice that it is a ?pet-friendly? community, which is the main reason we choose to live here.

We rented a townhouse unit, although the layout was spacious and the fireplace was a nice feature we had many problems. Our heating bill was almost $ 500.00 per month in the cold winter months with our bedroom level at 80 degrees and our downstairs about 60 degrees. We repeatedly asked this to be looked at without luck.

When we toured the apartment there was a very nice washer and dryer. When we moved in the nice washer and dryer had been replaced with a much older model. Our washer needed to be replaced twice during our year there.

There are quite a few section 8 residents. During the summer months the pool area is always packed and there is a lot if unsupervised children. We tried using the pool on a few occasions and eventually gave up.

As for crime, although we were no victims of a break-in several of our neighbors were. You must keep your sliding glass door and front door locked at all times.

In general, we were extremely disappointed in our experience at this property. I would not recommend Applebriar.
