After every negative review is a glowing review.

Look at all of the reviews and notice that for every negative review is a possitive review. Reviews that are all 5s or call the place perfect or directly refute complaints by tenants are simply fake. If you are a potential tenant, please remember that some people have lower standards of living and are willing to overpay to have the little they expect. Don't forget that this site is anonymous and makes no attempt to validate the user or the claims made by its users.
Applebriar should be a nice, upscale community, but with traffic, construction, loud neighbors, poorly constructed apartments, large, loud, unleashed dogs, unprofessional staff, the gun range, high crime area and a property management company that treats its tenants like prisoners, you could do much better living in any number of places in Marlborough.
The pool is dirty, noisy and filled with unsupervised children during the summer. The tennis court/basketball court is poorly cared for and happens to occupy the same space. The trash is located at the entrance to the property and the apartments are located along a road leading away from the entrance. Walking your trash to find out the trash is completely full and overflowing isn't a pleasant experience. Oh, don't bother telling management, they know about the problems, but "can't" do anything about it. Too bad about the burglary, car break in or noise problems. Your stuck with it.
Visit the property on a Sunday, when the gun range is typically very active, if you must visit the property at all. Additionally, you may want to hear what other previous tenants had to say by checking with the BBB: http://www.dallas.bbb.org/commonreport.html'compid=3802

This complex doesn't have tennis courts, and hasn't since well before I moved here in 1/04. My husband and I only had 1 occasion to go to the pool this summer, and there weren't but 3 children there, way underage to even think about being unsupervised, and their parents were with them. It was quiet and tranquil. Where do you live? Obviously not at the same place I do....

golitah26, I hate to call you a liar, but there were unleashed dogs in our stairwell and our parking lot virtually every day. Then again, I think your attitude is representative of the kind of people I had experience with at Applebriar, especially the management. diamond3573, the complex had tennis courts when we moved in. If they're gone, that's news to us. The court used to be right next to the swimming pool. I question how you know so much about the place two years or longer before you moved in. I suppose Lincoln Properties could have put better management in since we left, but at the time of my tenancy, I can assure you that every thing in my review is 100% accurate. |
