Still a Happy Apple

Update 1/05 - It's been almost 3 years since I moved in, and since I posted my "best decision I ever made" in 10/02 - and although I've had minor issues, and have read all the complaints on this site, overall, I'm still satisfied with the property, the upkeep and the staff (especially the maintenance personnel who respond quickly and with a "get it DONE" attitude). I agree that the new clubhouse shouldn't be used for parties to sell things by the management staff which I read on a later post. But I think writing a letter to the management staff when you have a complaint is better than complaining HERE. I just wonder if the people who complain the loudest on this site even attempt to resolve things in person or in writing to staff. I have found them to be responsive when you do. They constantly solicit feedback which I don't believe most complexes do.
I've recommended this place to many people as I work in human resources and would only refer it if it was a place I felt comfortable recommending. No place is "perfect". I don't hear the gun club noise that was posted in earlier posts and it is out of the property's control anyway. In fact, I stand by my original post that QUIET is one of Applebriar's attractions. Guests who visit always comment how quiet and lovely the place is.
Next to owning your own home, this is a lovely community and I believe that the management team has continued to find ways to show appreciation and monetary incentives (i.e. lease renewals) to keep people here & happy. After all, it's a win/win to retain loyal residents and maintain the property in good working order.
