The grounds of these apartments are beautiful, with lots of conservation land.
The video/dvd library is good. So is the clubhouse.
Maintenance is good.

Noise is a big issue. There always seems to be some sort of construction/repair work going on and it starts from 7:30 am until 7 pm. Some of the tenants are noisy as well.
Hot water is a problem. There is not enough hot water, if one needs to take a shower in quick succession of the first person who took a bath.
The electric bill is outrageously high....makes one wonder if tenants are paying for the electric maintenance within the hallways, lobby of the building they occupy.

Appliances are old and terrible.

The rent specials are only for the new tenants. The tenants who wish to renew their lease, need to pay horrendously high prices with the renewed lease. The previous apartments I stayed at had a reverse and more logical policy - the more faithful a tenant is in renewing his lease and continuing staying at that place, the more discounts he gets.

I have the same opinion. I've not noticed the neighbors to be noisy, but the construction is terrible, noisy and intrusive. You can be told it will last x amout of days, and yet 3 days after that date, you wake up to a man outside your bedroom window doing some sort of work, no warnings, no notice. Although you are seperate from the outside, there seems to be reason for maintenance to enter the house on regular basis, which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, and a bit like i'm staying at a hotel. Office staff seems to rotate often as well, and leave a lot to be desired!!
