Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
When I moved in, the apartment looked decent. But, after living 5 years, things started to fall apart. Water leaking from toilet, roof leaking, dryer vent clogging, tub not draining, heating problem, A/C not cooling, floor making cracking sound, blinds falling off, washer not working, dishwasher not working, even bugs entering house from god knows where. There is conservation land, the home of various bugs and the house does not have enough setback from the consv land. The apartments are well maintained, but some construction is always going somewhere. Noise from construction, lawn mower, tree and bush trimming, blower may be an issue. Neighbors are very nice, though. Rent is high. I moved out of the apartment, because it has too many issues as it gets old. Most problems were fixed by the management, but some took longer.
For the rent you pay for this apartment, I will suggest that you rent a house or a condo. Its much cheaper if you do not use other amenities like pool and gym regularly.
