We really have nothing but good things to say about Avalon Orchards. We originally moved here from another Marlborough apt. complex after a bad overall experience, which I won't go into here, but I did write them a review. Avalon was a much needed change from that. From day one we have been greeted with a smile by the management. They have always been professional and speedy with our requests. Maintenance requests were always answered within the next day, and the maintenance staff were very pleasant folks.

Parking was always available in our section of the complex, which I enjoyed. It was very nice being able to park about 15 ft. from your front door.

The main office had some nice extras, like a fax machine, swimming pool, and fitness center. We didn't use the pool so much as the fitness center, which had some decent equipment and machines. The fax was nice to have the few times that we needed it as well. Avalon also has a carpet cleaner we you can reserve.

The noise level was acceptable compared to our past experiences with apartments. Our neighbors typically respected normal "quiet" hours with few exceptions. We did have a slight problem with one neighbor blasting their TV at odd hours of the night, but they moved out shortly after it started. Overall the other tenants are very nice and respectful people. The community seems to be comprised mainly of young- to middle-aged professionals as well as retirees.
