Apartments are overpriced and cheaply built. The apartment that we lived in for less than a full year had constant problems with leaking. At one point, we had a leaky, moldy window for more than 1 month.

Management is the WORST. The manager flagrantly disregards health code concerns, building code concerns and safety issues. If you even try to get some resolution for issues, he has no patience and the WORST customer service skills ever.

There are FAR nicer places out there for equal/lesser amounts, do yourself a favor and find those.

Management is fine as long as you aren't a jerk (but thats a universal rule really). But if you ever have a maintenance issue, forget it. Hell could open up in the middle of your living room and they wouldn't fix it for months.

Has the situation improved since March? I am interested in moving there? Can you provide specifics about the maintenance concerns you witnessed there? You said months to fix, please confirm that as sarcasm?
