Good Place to Live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/4/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005   I found living at Princeton Green pretty agreeable, except for noisy upstairs neighbors. I think if you rent a 2nd floor unit, you won't have any noise complaints. I only heard noise from my side-by-side neighbors when they played their tvs loud. Most people are considerate about turning down the noise at 10 p.m. It can also get noisy at the pool during the day, so if you get a unit facing the pool be prepared. Maintenance was superb! They always came right away and did a complete job. Princeton Green's management team were always very friendly to me. When I rented my apt, they offered a free months rent, which they let me spread out over the first years rent. They also allow cats, for a $500 deposit (2 max). Unfortunately, Princeton Green apartments do not include utilities. It was very expensive - electric heat and cooking. It was also difficult to adjust the heating in the winter. In the summer...the air conditioner is in the livingroom & the air doesn't flow into the bedroom unless it is on 10 and that costs a bundle, too! Fortunately for me, I don't require a cold room to sleep in. I put a fan in the doorway and it blew enough cold air into my bedroom. I loved the water pressure in the shower. Truly superb. The kitchen is galley style. It is an adequate size with a lot of cabinets and counterspace. There is a good size laundry room in the basement with 6 washers and 6 dryers. It can get pretty busy down there on Saturdays and Sundays. I loved the huge closets in the dining/living room and the bedroom. I would rent from Princeton Green again if the opportunity arose. They were very fair to me.
