Rents are still going HIGH

I have been living here now for more than 1 year. Inspite of low economic conditions, rents are still going high here.
This property was recently bought by AIMCO, who are one of the largest company to hold Rental properties in US. Earlier management (Flatley Company) was more receptive and flexible. New management has also stopped organizing community oriented fun stuff, like monthly bagels or Pizza parties and has also stopped publishing monthly news letter. The on-site management behaves as if they are helpless and pass on everything to the new owner AIMCO.
Another problem is that and I guess it is with so many others too, while they offer special rents and promotions to new residents, they offer no incentive for existing residents on lease renewal and kind of take them for granted.
Overall living experience is OK.
