this place is a great place to live, some people may have problems, but you can't plz everyone!! they have great staff and help when needed, my home is beautiful and well thought out, the pool looks inviting but its too cold so ill have to wait! i haven't lived here long but im excited to see what his place can off so if anyone is looking for quality living!' this is the place for you!

With 322 or so units in Stonegate, I???m sure at least a few people are pleased. I regret to say, we are not among them. Despite daily vacuuming and cleaning, we have been fighting a mouse problem since the day we moved in. We???ve had at least 7 visits from the maintenance staff (who are genuinely nice people) and another 3 visits from a professional exterminator, we still catch about 1 mouse per week. Every once in a while we forget to remove the various mouse traps from the kitchen when company comes over and I feel like such trailer trash??? We had to vacate the second bedroom for a week while an ice dam flowed inside the wall and soaked the carpet in the second bedroom. It was fun to move out of the complex and into a small, non-child-proofed hotel room for the Christmas week (because, well, you know that???s where everybody goes when they have toddlers and want a nice quiet holiday). I won???t even talk about how much of a disaster that situation was. And I swear to God, as I sit and type this very response, the shower stall in our master bedroom has half a wall torn out by the maintenance staff due to water running inside the wall (yes, a completely DIFFERENT wall from the bedroom) and there is a commercial blower in the shower stall blowing foul, musty air off the wall, and into our apartment. Oh, did I mention how my children have to sleep with hooded sweatshirts over their sleepers because we can???t get their room over 65 degrees in the cold weather unless the rest of the apartment is over 75 degrees? How sad is it that 2 year old kids know the maintenance guys by name, and those guys are occasionally spending more time around my kids than I do because I???m too darn busy working to pay for the rent? Yes, we are such very difficult people to please. We somehow expected that a building less than 1 year old with a $2000/mo rent for a 2B/2B apartment would have been a little nicer. How foolish of us... p.s. God, if I am lying strike me dead now??? as I am proof reading this response a mouse trap just caught it???s latest victim under the kitchen stove???
