I read the bad review from the person who lived here in 1997. I moved in Jan 2002 and it seams the management has improoved greatly. I got a 2 bed 1 bath for $ 1315 for a year.
What I like here:
1- Friendly and responsive management. They have a monthly news letter and ask for feedback from tenants.
2- Very Quiet place and friendly neighbors. When on the balcony I realize that it is more noisy inside my apartment than it is outside.
3- Spacious apartment and balcony. Concrete floors so you don't hear walking upstair neighbors nor music from downstairs.
4- New kitchen, central air and heat included.
What could be better here:
1- I did not see my apartment untill the previous tenant left. I had to decide to take it by looking at the model only. I was dissapointed to see that the bathroom was a 70's blue (don't like it) whereas the model had a nice white bathroom.
2- The heater is in a closet near the kitchen and is noisy and turns on periodically, but is free and keeps me warm.
3- There are two washer and dryers in the basement, which is not tidy and going down there is not fun. The machines are average.
Overall. I am happy here and can relax in peace an quiet after work. My 7 months old daughter likes the observe the singing birds from the balcony.
