Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008

We rented an apartment here January of this year. Apparently, all you have to do is SAY you only have (the maximum of) 4 tenants per apartment, because numerous apartments house at least 6 or 7 tenants each. We have probably slaughtered 15 house centipedes that are crawling anywhere from the living room walls to our bedroom ceilings. Important private notices are left loosely and unsecure on front doors. BOTH outside doors are broken, as are the main entryway lights. SO, not only can outsiders just waltz in, but paying tenants' sense of security is at risk, due to the darkness of the stairwells. As for parking' Despite being told that visitors should park in the VISITORS lot, otherwise risk being towed by "strict monitors", I would estimate that 1/2 of the cars crowding tenant parking (even in no parking zones) don't have stickers. The Heights at Marlborough has proven to be a poor choice, in almost all aspects. One positive' Maintenence. As long as they are called directly, and not sent via main office, they are timely and friendly. If you value your quality of life and sense of personal security, seek housing elsewhere. I should agree with the comments on this post. What he has mentioned is pretty much true. I am living in this community for several years and lately it???s been a disaster, especially after ???Home Properties??? took charge of this community. I did a big mistake last year extending my lease for one more year due to unavoidable circumstances. I can???t wait for my lease to end, but the lease breakage charges are pretty high and so I have no choice. I think I can add few more issues in addition to what he has mentioned in this post. The laundry rooms are so untidy and the machines are so outdated. The staircases stinks and the rails are rusted.
I wouldn???t recommend this place even to my enemy. :)
