I've been living at The Meadows for a little over 3 years now. From the start there has been nothing but problems and incovenience. Our first apartment had a large number of mice, leaks in the bathroom ceiling, and the plaster on the ceiling in the living room all came off and soaked the carpet underneath.
We then moved to another apartment and again saw a large number of mice, and constant back-ups of the kitchen sink into the tub in the bathroom. The previous management and maintenance I found quite friendly and helpful, but since new management has taken over, I've found them to be somewhat lacking in hospitality, and some members of maintenance to be incredibly rude.
I have lately had problems getting work orders for repairs taken care of, and having to resend/recall my requests in for service. All amenities are for an extra fee, and the paper thin walls don't provide a lot of peace and quiet. I would not recommend the complex.

I need to mention that not all of the crew acts the same. Some are very nice and get the job done fast and do things properly. I was told that the head of maintenance is the one that determines who gets new things. So if your carpet is filthy since you moved in or the screen on the windows or door to balcony are messed up or the kitchen cabinets are falling apart... you just have to pray that he picks you! I must say though, management is friendly and tend to do their job. I have lived here for many years and never had a problem with mice.
