Towne Estates is a decent place to live in that the price is reasonable and the apartments, although a bit small, look fine. Parking for one car is included and it is about a 15 minute walking distance to the Oak Groove T station. The property grounds are nicely landscaped and there is a pool to enjoy in the summer. HOWEVER, please beware of the management! The two ladies in the office, Lorri and Debbie, but especially Lorri are extremely rude! Before you sign the lease they act nice and friendly, but afterwards, they make you feel that you are not worth their time when you call with a maintenance issue or question, cut you off without allowing you to explain what the issue is, and act like they are doing you a favor everytime they talk to you. Upper management at Franchi, the management company, should seriously consider investing in some basic customer service classes for these ladies!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. THEY ACT LIKE YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM IF YOU CALL THEM. I THINK THEY NEED TO BE REMINDED THAT THAT IS THEIR DAMN JOB!!!!!
