I, too, lived at Town Estates...At first, I thought it was a nice place to live when the previous manager was there. This new woman, Debbie, is a real -----. She thinks she knows it all and is very snippy. My husband and I have lived there a few years and are always on time with our rent and even pay well in advance. The apartments are not insulated very well....We lived on the second floor and we could hear the person upstairs' radio, alarm clock, him talking on the phone,etc. and they obviously could hear us as well. If you have your radio on, they complain that it's too loud, or your t.v. is too loud. We are sick of the complaints. They have a huge racoon problem. You can drive in there at 6:30 in the evening and the racoons are all over the dumpster. I don't take the trash out at night or in the early morning because I'm afraid of being attacked by the racoons. It's an ongoing problem and the management does nothing about it. They have an open dumpster so the racoons are being fed well. They just did the bathrooms over finally and what a horrible job. I have a pink bathroom and they put a white toilet in and they regrazed the tub white. So it's pink tiles, pink floor, bright white toilet and bright white tub. It looks horrible. The maintenance staff are very nice, but the office manager, Debbie, is a horrible manager. I would not recommend living here to anyone. They have so many apartments for rent there now also. They can't rent them out, and it seems like they are renting to anyone just to get the money. Plus, they have bugs...little black ones. We have called the office many times to no avail. Don't know if its because of the new people coming in or what, but it's pretty disgusting!!! So glad we moved!!!! Not worth the rent...you can get so much more for your money somewhere else!!!! Debbie needs to be fired for being so rude and lazy!!!! Also, there are only 2 washers and dryers in the whole building for 24 units. Good luck trying to get your laundry done!!!!
