Delmont Estates

1. These apartments are SMALL. 500 sq ft for a one-bedroom, 720 for a two bedroom.
2. Rent is high for such a small space.
3. Managers are rude and conveniently forget to come over - especially for serious issues.
4. Habitual entry into the apartment with no advanced notice, no note, and you have to chase the managers/maintenance for a reason for their entry.
5. 2 washers and 2 dryers for 24 apartments. 'Nuff said on that one.
6. Tiny, outdated bathrooms.
7. Tiny, outdated kitchens. No dishwashers, unless you get lucky (there's maybe one apartment with one. Non-existent counter space in the one bedrooms.
8. Balcony? Yes. But don't risk your health on them. They are old, some are rotting, and they are pulling away from the building.
9. Dead end street - yes. Busy highway exit less than 25 feet from rear of building - Yes. On flight path for Lawrence Municipal - yes.
10. Crime problem - yes. Theft of items in cars.
11. Parking - adequate for tenants, but visitor parking is at very end of lot and is inadequate for the 48 apartments.
12. Noise is an issue. The acoustics are such that you can hear your neighbor whispering in their apartment!!!

I could go on and on, but I won't. I think you get the picture. Use your money more wisely somewhere else.
