We are looking to move out of the area and our lease is not up till the summer.
We are wondering what the management/ownership is like if you terminate the lease.
WE can give 60 days notice required in lease, but the other costs associated (ie..
1/4 remain lease) we simply can not afford.
To be honest, it is a stretch now to afford the rent, circumstances changed after we signed lease and have been pulling strings just to afford the rent.
What is the likelyhood the management will be understand and allow us to just give the 60 day notice and keep our security deposit'
We honestly dont have it the $ to give them especially since we have to relocate out of the area and must pay 1st last and security at a new place.
Even that will be nearly impossible to do.

I'd talk to management. A contract's a contract, but you might be able to work something out financially (ex. sublet, or transfer to less expensive unit). Good luck!

A lease is a lease. It's clear when you signed it. The management is right.
