The problem with Rockdale does not lie in the management, the maintenance, or parking. The problem is with many of the tenants. This place allows section 8 housing so there are not exactly an all star set of residents. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good residents here. I know many. The problem is when you get stuck near the trouble ones. I cannot tell you how many times I have been awakened to the sound of the police raiding my downstairs neighbor. Not to mention those nights when I try having a relaxing night with my girlfriend and all I hear is my neighbors radio blaring or better yet a great argument...which then tends to lead to the police coming again. Like I said though, it is all in who you live near. The parking is not that bad where I am. Every once and a while someone is throwing a party near my unit so on street parking is a little tough. All in all, if you get a good neighbor then you are all set.
