I'm happy to have found a nice place. I've been here for 5 months. Rockdale West apartments are clean, spacious, and very affordable. Management is kind and helpful, and the maintenance crews are prompt and courteous. The buildings and grounds are well kept, lots of trees and lush green grass makes it seem more like Dartmouth instead of New Bedford. It is a very family orientated community and I feel safe living here. The residents for the most part, take pride in their homes. The only downside is noise. If you get a neighbor who likes to blast his music, you'll hear it. But if you get a good neighbor - you're golden! And small dogs under twenty pounds are allowed, (pet rent $25 x-tra) so that's a plus if you're a dog lover. Parking is ample, never had any problems. Easy access to great shopping. I have and would recommend living here to anyone.
