If you are living in the ground floor, beware. Kinds upstairs wil be jumping all the time and you can never get to sleep peacefully.
The front office is arrogant and they are so nice when you move in, but make it a very unpleasant experience when you move out.

I think this is just you...what kind of mood were you in when you talked to them? If you were being pissy, they probably were being pissy back (in which case I cant blame them, I wouldnt put up with you either). There isnt really much they can do - their buildings are old and what else can you expect when youre renting - youre going to hear some noise unless you pay a lot to live at a luxury place. Go knock on your neighbors door and ask them POLITELY to keep it down. You may just be surprised to find they dont realize they are disrupting you. |

UMmmm.. first of all the office staff work for YOU. You are the client, customer and the reason they are there. They should NEVER act 'pissy' to a tenant. NO excuse for that. You admit buildings are old, but ignore there are many, many new apartment complexes, so their rents should reduce to show that market reality. Last - when you PAY high rents - and we certainly DO - you can EXPECT and deserve nice office staff, in addition to nice, well repaired and maintained units. We don't get that either. SO, seems to me you have some axe to gring - are you part of staff and not being honest by telling us?

Ya dude, Im a rental agent there..that's why I live in Maine now. GROW UP! Listen, its called common sense. If you act like an ass to people, dont be surprised if you get it back. Nobody deserves to put up with an attitude regardless of where they work. Rent there was 1250 when I was there...which was FAR less than 1575 at River Pointe down the street. So YES they ARE lower than other places around. If you hate the place, move out. Simple as that. |

THANKS for revealing what the rental agents REALLY think about the tenant. And, also how quick you are to lie about your local competition. River Pointe is more expensive, but Royal Crest INCREASES RENTS anywhere from 15 - 200% (yes you read that correct, it is not a typo up to TWO HUNDRED percent!) River Pointe does not do that, and they are a completely new complex, Royal Crest is some 40 years old, with decades of quick fix repairs.
