These apartments have a severe black mold infestation. My entire family became very ill (including 2 very young children)!!!!! Management did nothing to help and we HAD to file a lawsuit! I've had three other friends who rented at Royal Crest who were put in mold infested apartments! THEY HIDE MOLD PROBLEMS ... and they will rent it to you. BEWARE! MOLD MOLD MOLD (I've got over 100 pictures to prove it too! Mold grew on my belongings and they didn't care!!! If I could add more than six pictures I would!
NOT A KID FRIENDLY PLACE!!!!!!!!! my little ones got yelled at and blamed for EVERYTHING!

I lived there also, our ceiling kept leaking. When the maintencance man finally came, he went to the bathroom, and to check the strength of the ceiling he punched it and his hand went right through the ceiling leaving a huge hole. It made a huge mess on the floor which they did not clean up. When I moved out they charged me extra for not turning the key in on time. They never sent us a lease so we didn't know about the fine, but were happy to pay just to get out of there. They contacted a debt collection agency BEFORE they sent us the bill. They called and said we owed about $1000, we wrote out a check and dropped it off the next morning, when we got the mail there was a letter from a debt collector. This is totally illegal and we too are considering a lawsuit. Living there was one of the worst experiences in my life, it was almost like they went out of their way to make my life more difficult. We had to pay something like $5000 for leaving before our lease expired, another $1000 for the late key, and now the fear of our credit scores being ruined. They are run by criminals. I contacted the president of AIMCO and he said there was nothing he could do. He could have called them up and asked them about it. AIMCO are horrible. I have photgraphic proof of the hole in the ceiling. The mold problem is not a surprise. All my neighbors had problems with Royal Crest Estates- just go there and ask anyone if they are satisfied. Just go ask.

Reading the above thread, I realyl don't understand why the Attorney General doesn't get involved here? Where is the publicity for this appaling place to live???
