Lots of money out of pocket, NO SATISFACTION with SERVICE

Well when we moved in 10 years ago, the place wasn't bad, They were actually making some nice impovements. Well that lasted about 2 years at best! Now they do stupid things without even asking tenants opinions! Such as brick patio for inground pool (took an entire year without a pool for them to do that), Expensive (highway grade) Granite curbing for their parking lot, cement sidewalks (which started to fall apart with the first snowfall), underground sprinkler system (which took a full year to put in and not only did they tear up the entire grounds to put it in but we had a year of dirt blowing around outside, as well as inside due to their "construction"). Oh and after barely a few years their "great" underground sprinkler system has developed leaks now, that they are really in no great hurry to fix. The leaks were so bad this year that they were stagnate "ponds" on the grounds as well as the sidewalks, and were a breeding ground for insects. The only useful improvement they have done was give us apartment size washer/dryers in our apartments.
Let's talk about noise here!!! Walls are so thin (30 yr old construction) you hear neighbors all the time. And lately they are only the noiser type too!!! LOUD music to shake the walls, rude people with constant alarm clocks going off for hours at times, toilet lids slamming down. When you complain about these things management doesn't want to be bothered. Their answer for this kind of stuff is "Call the Police". Nice answer for the rent we all pay here!!!
Interior maintaince''' Kind of a joke here! Hallways that stay in "construction state" for years, allowing cold winter winds and hot humid summer air into our apartments. Let's talk HIGH electric bills to put up with too on top of unprofessional workmanship. Repairs, that's a joke too, 3 times to come out and fix an AC unit for the same problem, maintaince keep saying nothing wrong with it even though it blew hot air and turned it self off after a few minutes. If you want to see in your kitchen or bathroom here expect to dish out more money because management doesn't provide lights for their own fixtures here. Nor do their provide toilet seats when they break. Talking about bathrooms here well don't expect them to take care of the mold problem they have here. Their answer to that is just paint over it whenever they feel like it!!! Lighting in the parking lots (building spotlights), well if they break (which a few have) then trying to get maintaince to go up on the roof is near IMPOSSIBLE to fox them!! Dealing with the property manager is like talking to the wall and beating your head against the wall at the same time. Basically you get "yesed to death" but nothing good ever comes from it.
Rent increases, well they keep going up over the years! When you ask the property manager why the increase is going up her answer is "Well the other apartments in the area are going up and are higher than us". Yeah but where is my money going''' Definitely not to making any BIG improvements in my living conditions to my apartment!!! Seems that all our money goes into the precious grounds and management office.
Yeah we have an inground pool, for the use it does for us in recent years. The open pool season is getting shorter as the years go by. This year alone it was end of June before it opened (almost 4th of July weekend) and closed the day before Labor Day. And heaven forbid if the "kids" they hire as lifeguards don't want to work certain days out of the season, they just don't!!! Saw the maintaince man a few times this year alone acting as lifeguard here when these "kids" weren't around. Another nice way to spend our rent money!!!
Basically do yourself a favor and find another aprtment complex that treats it's tenants with respect and does something for it's tenant and stay away from Royal Park. There is no "Royal" here!!!
