Its one of those rare places where they don't enforce a yearly lease down your throat. So it is wonderful for anyone who has non-yearly plans. The place is well maintained. I have seen several apartments where the corridor carpet smells and the garbage is lying around everywhere. But this one is neat and clean. In almost all respects, I am happy with the place. Here are some wrinkles:
1. The response of the front office and maintainance people is horrible. To their credit, they are very polite and that's no small feat. But they just don't deliver. You have to visit/call them several times for any small issue.
2. The heating system is all screwed up. Even if I set the thermostat to the minimum temperature, the house is too hot to live. if you don't open your windows, you would suffocate in the dry hot interior.
3. This has nothing against the apartment, but the area is not safe. I have seen defaced cars, broken glasses etc., and sometimes strange people walk in the compound when it is dark. I wish they could construct a big perimeter wall!
