The complaints about Quincy Commons are a great mystery to me. FYI, the previous (negative) review is for a place called Grand Quincy Commons located in Denver, Colorado so I don`t know how it got posted here. It should be disregarded. We`ve lived in a 2 bedroom apartment at Quincy Commons and couldn`t be more pleased. First of all, the location is stellar, especially for commuters. It`s in a quiet, well kept residential neighborhood only a block from Wollaston Beach and Quincy Bay. The North Quincy T (subway) station is only a 10 minute walk away. It`s easy to see why this property consistently gets top awards in Massachusetts for landscaping. It is a parklike setting with mature shade trees and flower bedecked walkways. Both the office and maintenance staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful. Hallways are upscale and immaculately maintained. When we moved in, we found a brand new kitchen and bathroom, new carpeting, freshly painted walls and virtually everything in mint, unblemished condition. Although this is an older property, it was like walking into a brand new apartment. Our top floor, corner unit with recessed private balcony overlooking the small but attractive pool makes it pretty easy to come home every day. We never experience any noise, bug or parking issues, so we`re very happy with the entire experience here.
