The yelling manager

Unluckily, I moved in a Norwest Woods unit that has safety problems. After calling for a few days I stopped at the rent office seeking their help but the manager just started yelling at me. At the move-in, everybody was so nice; therefore, I would never anticipate that the manager would yell at me afterwards. Normally, professionals have good skills that allow them to control their temper. I thought that safety concerns would be their first priority but, I guess I was wrong. The mother of all problems at Norwest Woods is the design of the rain gutters. They are, in several cases, placed above door ways. Therefore, in winter you will get the icy water pouring on your head. Once the temperature drops, it freezes and makes the door ways icy, and it forms icicles that hang above your head. Unfortunately, the icicles do not watch before falling down. Therefore, for your safety, a golf umbrella and/or a hard hat will be valuable to enter or exit your unit. I was not expecting that they knew about these problems for all these years and still choose to do nothing to protect their tenants.

They talk but not match when it comes to actions. Of course there are safety issues at Norwest Woods. The place is intensely used; so many town houses in a very limited space that leaves no privacy and represents a fire hazard. At the moment, they are building new buildings at both sides of the main entry road that may expose their prospective tenants to 24 hours traffic noisy and vibrations. The town houses are clustered together that make it very difficult to save any of them in case of accidental fire. Therefore, they require that you buy a home insurance policy. As well, they require an additional $50,000 liability policy. It is not understood whether they are getting ready to sue you or it is an attempt to make you share some of their property insurance policy cost. The parking lots are not maintained and hardly marked, which make it difficult to safely park your car. It is clear that their first concern is to safe money at the cost of your safety.

No, windsor gardens not require it but they want you to buy policies...it's not to sue you. its so hopefully you are covered enough not to sue them. None of the giants in norwood are great. management sucks all around. (trust me) I'm trying to find the lesser of four evils.
