With all the professionals moving out, Windsor Gardens has resorted to becoming a low income housing project. There are more people living on housing subsidies and food stamps here than there are in Roxbury. Two years ago, a girl bured down an entire building becasue she was playing with the oven. Cars have their windows broken all the time and grafiti is appearing all over the complex. Towing is happeneing now because, like the ghetto, each apartment contains more than 4 adults and each has a car so parking spaces are never available. The epople who work in the office are scared to confront loud residents who break rules becasue they fear for their lives. Large groups of thugs also hang out in the parking lots after dark so safety is a big concern. For anyone looking to live here, drive around the complex after dark before signing the lease.

I was living at the property during the fire you referenced - only 3 apartments were effected by the small fire...not an entire building. I lived at Windsor Gardens - and just recently moved out - but I was very happy there and had none of the problems that you mentioned. Last time I drove through the place, it looked great- they are putting in all new balconies. I do recommend that you drive through - it looks great.

I jsut drove through yesterday to check it out and although it was just one drive I did notice an abundance of kids playing and riding bikes in parking lots. Didn't really look like a place Id want my daughters to play in. Maybe a son so he could learn to fight! lol

since when does 4 cars per household = ghetto? If it were a rich "white" area they would be considered well off, not ghetto. C'mon people, it's 2006!

4 cars at a house is "well off" 4 cars at a 2 bedroom apartment is ghetto, white or otherwise is irrelevent, get a clue.
