I have loved every moment here as a resident. The staff is awesome, and I love the fact that they know me by name when I come in the office for anything. They treat my kids so great and always give my dog a treat when we stop by. I LOVE IT!

Ya love it until your place burns down and your dog is still inside... then they won't even talk to you. Love it then.

First of all, fires happen everywhere. It is unfortunate that animals were lost but from what I was told is that quite a few of the animals werent even on the lease, because people were being cheap and did not want to pay the deposit or pet rent. I love my dog and she is like my child, but I am not gonna neglect her in a fashion by not letting the leasing office know about her. I just moved in state, and when I lived in TN I was involved in a fire. You are all spoiled here because at least they offered some money to everyone, even if it was not the amount that you thought was fair. I lost EVERYTHING.....all I got was a pat on the back and a "You should have had Renters Insurance". It is a shame that people like you are trying to rain on someone's parade because of a positive comment towards Highlands at Dearborn. I love it, that is all that matter and FYI the mulch that was around the buildings that actually caused the fire has been replaced by stone.

ACTUALLY... most of those pets were on the lease. But to be completely honest it didn't matter one way or another if they were as it wasn't like they looked up to see who had pets then sent firefighters into those apartments. Use your head... or you can continue to let them piss on your shoes and tell you it's raining.

I love it here too! I feel bad for everyone who had a loss that day but really if you don't like it here leave and if you did leave then leave it behind or get therapy because it is not healthy to dwell on it or have such hate.
