Good place.
Inside of apartment is gorgeous, landscaping nice. Nice job in snow removal in winter. Pet-friendly although I don't like paying $60 a month for a tiny dog after paying approx $1800 for a 1 bedroom.

Pool is nice-with lifeguard on duty. The office people will address "problems" for you like if you have noisy neighbors etc. They also collect packages for you - convenient.

Great location up on the Quarries with lots of wildlife around. We have seen deer, bunnies and coyotes just near the property. The granite and stainless design inside the unit is classy. The AC system/vent is kinda noisy and right in the tv area!! Weird design on that! I also wished that my bedroom was not directly over parking spaces and garage doors becuase they wake me up both late night and early morning. Try to get a unit that faces trees.

Crime is low in Quincy and you are right near Red Line, Quincy Adams garage - which NEVER gets full. Very important! Oh, and driving up Ricciuti Dr can be tricky after a big snowfall so be sure to have your snowtires on or you'll be calling friends or a cab to get up the hill!!

There are lots of dogs here and I have had a nice time going on walks with my little dog and meeting all the other dog owners along the way. Lots of grass for dogs and the mailman will even give you a dog cookie if you catch him doing the mail!
It's quiet and homey at Quarry Hills.

Quick question: when we looked at Quarry Hills, the manager said water bills were to be paid by the tenant. Is this correct? If so, are your water bills expensive?

Water bills are nothing...$45-ish. Great property...gated community (low-medium security), but very safe area...some structural problems, but great staff, beautiful apartments 10 minute drive to Logan Int'l Airport and Downtown Boston (if no traffic)...minor issues, major bonuses...Quarry Hills is a winner...Lovely area...Across the street from Granite Links golf course... property an oasis. Will be sorry to leave (moving to yet another state)...

Sounds like this is the place where I want to live. One question though, how much time (average) to get to Boston with traffic?
