We moved into building "B" right around Feb 1st and I have been trying to get out ever since. I read in someone else's post about visiting the property during daytime hours only when most people arn't home is one way that AVALON and especially the management of this particular place trick you into believing it's quiet. We have the most outrageously annoying and rudest upstairs neighbors. I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING THEY DAY-- we have confronted them face to face and they insist they go to bed before or around midnight everynight but thats a lie since i have been woken up multiple times after 1 am. I went to the management to resolve the problem and to no avail they have basically told me tough and to just deal with it or MOVE OUT. So i called corportate to complain about "Doreen" even though thats not her name it rhymes with that and starts with a "M"- and after basically getting no response out of them either she called back after must be one of her supervisors called her and told her to figure it out. Again nothing has been done and i just found out they were able to extend there lease with no questions asked. I can not WAIT until Jan of next year when we can move to a real apt community where they actually care about their residents. This place is way overpriced and not worth the hassle...........If you do visit please ask around and try and visit on the "off" hours so you can see what actually goes on. To my understanding noise complaints have been a problem here for years and again obviously no one cares to get anything done about it even corporate. And to make matters worse-- we work for a property management company so we know "WHAT CAN AND SHOULD BE GETTING DONE"-- Completely UNsatasified.

I agree with this poster. Additionally, would it be too much for them to place another trash bin on the A,B,C side of the buildings?

I guess the same person that I used to deal with in the management office no surprise there. I am surprised with their corporate however, overall they have a great reputation, this location seems to be a cancer that they need to deal with.
